Travel conditions may vary by tour or excursion, but the following general conditions apply to all of our tours and excursions:

AIR:

When air travel is booked as part of a tour fares cannot be guaranteed until actual ticketing occurs. Airfares are subject to change at the discretion of the airlines. In order to conserve fares for both individual and group tours, immediate purchase is recommended. Flights are routinely booked in economy class unless otherwise requested. If your air is part of a package tour with a specific group minimum number, fares may increase should the minimum number not be reached.

BAGGAGE:

Current regulations require that only two bags not weighing more than 50 pounds each may be checked without incurring additional baggage fees. These fees are determined by the airline carriers and are subject to change at any time. Most flights permit one carry-on bag plus one additional personal item (purse, laptop computer, briefcase, camera case, etc.). Additional fees are the sole responsibility of the traveler who has overweight or additional baggage charges.

HOTEL & CRUISE ACCOMMODATIONS:

In general tour rates are quoted on a double occupancy basis (two persons sharing a room). Single rooms are available for an additional fee based as specified for each tour. In instances where passengers are traveling alone but request a roommate, every attempt will be made to place solo passengers with a roommate of the same sex on a first come basis. In instances where tours have an odd number of passengers, placement with a roommate is dependent on when a passenger pays in full for the tour. If no roommate is available at the time of booking and payment by any passenger, they will be placed in a single room and billed a separate single supplemental fee. Passengers will be notified in advance of tour departure dates regarding the room availability for double occupancy.

TAXES/TIPS/ MEALS:

Tips and meals are included on many tours. Each tour will specify whether or not meals and tips are covered. When there is a meal plan, in general, beverages are not included in the cost. Taxes vary and additional taxes may be imposed by airlines, airports, security and lodging and are included on most tours. However, any changes in these taxes that occur once the tour is published are not under the control of Sebayit Tours and the additional charges will be passed on to the clients. International departure taxes are not included in any tour or excursion packages.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:

Any request for refunds must be made in writing and signed by the person making the request. Refunds are paid less an administrative fee, up to 90 days after the request has been made and received. The administrative fee schedule is as follows: $200 up to 90 days prior to departure; $350 from 89 – 45 days prior to the scheduled departure date; $450 from 44 – 30 days from departure; $500 from 29 – 15 days prior to departure.There are no refunds for requests made within 14 days of the scheduled departure date. There are no refunds for services or sightseeing rendered but not used by travelers and there are no refunds for travel interruptions once the tour has begun.  Refunds for medical reasons are reviewed on an individual basis.  Travel insurance is highly recommended.  Applications for this insurance with a wide variety of services are available upon request.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Sebayit Tours assumes no liability or responsibility for any injuries, loss of property, accident, delay, changes in schedule or itinerary nor incidental damages, occasioned by circumstances beyond our control or by any person or reason whatsoever including but not limited to default or omission of and by any third party providing services or facilities related to or included in its tours or excursions or any part thereof, or in arranging for the same. The IATA carriers, steamship firms, and other transportation companies whose services are featured in these tours and/or excursions are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time that the passengers are not on board their respective conveyance. The passage contract in use by these companies, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser of these tours, excursions, and/or passengers and Sebayit Tours does not assume any liability or responsibility in connection therewith.
